SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY
1. Working Conditions and Labour Requirements:
Our organisation strictly adheres to the rights and obligations set out in national legislation, in accordance with the FSC’s core labour requirements. In this context, our primary objective is to ensure a sustainable and ethical working environment by respecting workers’ rights.
2. Child Labour and Young Workers:
• Our organisation prohibits the worst forms of child labour and applies a zero-tolerance policy in this regard.
• We do not employ workers under the age of 15 or below the minimum age specified in national or local laws and regulations (whichever is higher).
• No one under the age of 18 is employed in hazardous or arduous work outside the scope of education, in accordance with national laws and regulations.
3. Elimination of Forced and Compulsory Labour:
• Our organisation eliminates all forms of forced and compulsory labour.
• Employment relationships are based on voluntary participation and are conducted on the basis of mutual consent between employees.
• Practices indicating forced or compulsory labour, including the following, are never applied:
o Physical or sexual violence;
o Compulsory labour;
o Withholding of wages or demanding a deposit to start work;
o Restrictions on movement or freedom;
o Retention of passports and identity documents;
o Threats of reporting to the authorities, and similar elements.
4. Prevention of Discrimination:
• Our organisation applies a zero-tolerance policy towards employment and occupational discrimination.
• We ensure an equitable working environment by eliminating all forms of discriminatory employment practices.
5. Freedom of Association and the Right to Collective Bargaining:
• Our organisation respects employees’ freedom of association and their right to collective bargaining.
• Workers may establish or join workers’ organisations of their own choosing.
• Our organisation respects workers’ freedom of association and the right of workers’ organisations to establish their own constitutions and rules.
• Workers shall not be discriminated against or penalised for joining or not joining workers’ organisations.
• We negotiate in good faith with legally established workers’ organisations or elected representatives and make every effort to reach a collective agreement.
• Existing collective agreements are implemented in full.
